Glycol PH Control Chemical
Our PH-301 PH Control chemical additive is designed to help balance the pH and prevent corrosion in natural gas dehydration units that use Tri-ethylene glycol. This pH control chemical is used to raise the pH of glycol, if below a pH of 7, and create a protective film in the vapor areas of the glycol unit to reduce corrosion.
Application of PH-301 is recommended when pH of the lean glycol falls below 7 or when large amounts of make-up glycol is added to the system. Typical dosage rates of 0.5-1 quart per 100 gallons of glycol are recommended.
